Editor's Note: The Roudabush Survey stated the address as 105-107 Market St. with 105 first floor and 107 second floor, whereas currently the address appears to be 105 Market St. for the complete building. Note difference in photographs below.

At 105-107 Market St., Palmyra, there is a two and one-half story building which is the only cobblestone, to our knowledge, built in a row of houses. Only the front wall is visible. The quoins and stones have been covered with paint, so that original colors are not apparent. Stones are small and are in 5 rows per quoin. The mortar between stones is embellished into pyramids, which usually are not expanded to the bottom. Roudabush Survey page 114

This commercial building at 105 Market St., Palmyra, was built in the 1830s by Tilden, a local tinsmith. During the post-Civil War period it was occupied by L. D. Sellick & Company, basket-makers. It has a bracketed cornice. The facade consists of varied-sized lake cobblestones. Some discrete alterations have been made over the years.
